16th ANNUAL STOCKHOLDERS MEETING HELD APRIL 26 Our 16th annual stockholders meeting was held on Saturday, April 26 2008 in the Chicago area. In the morning there was a presentation from management on events of 2007 and plans for 2008, then a catered lunch. In the afternoon we elected our Board of Directors for 2008 and then continued with detailed discussions of our strategy, followed by our annual board meeting. Saturday evening we enjoyed fine dining at Swank, the private martini bar of 100 South, a classic Chicago-style chophouse. While there was lively discussion, it was an interesting, productive and enjoyable annual meeting. (Below- Staff and Directors relax before the annual meeting.)
OPTIMUM REALTY NOMINATED FOR WALL STREET JOURNAL AWARD We have been nominated for the "Top Small Workplace of 2008" in the Winning Workplaces competition sponsored by the Wall Street Journal. Winners will be announced in October. This award recognizes small companies that provide outstanding work environments and innovative approaches to management.
